These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the VERAE JEWELLERY website, as well as the purchase of products through our online store.
Please read these Terms carefully, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refund Policy, before making a purchase.
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. USE OF THE WEBSITE
By using our website, you agree to do so in accordance with applicable law, good faith and these Terms & Conditions.
You may not use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, place false orders, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or introduce viruses, malicious code or other elements that may interfere with the proper functioning of the website.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
3. OUR PRODUCTS
VERAE offers jewellery made with natural stones, 925 sterling silver and 18K gold plating, as specified on each product page.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that photographs, descriptions, colours and dimensions accurately represent each piece.
However, colours may appear slightly different depending on the screen or device used.
Product dimensions are provided as accurately as possible and may be subject to minor variations.
4. NATURAL STONES
Every natural stone is unique.
Due to their natural origin, variations in colour, tone, transparency, inclusions, texture or pattern may occur from one stone to another.
These characteristics are part of the individuality of each VERAE piece and do not, in themselves, constitute a manufacturing defect or lack of conformity.
5. AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability.
Some VERAE pieces may be produced or offered in limited quantities.
Adding a piece to your shopping cart does not reserve it.
If, in exceptional circumstances, a piece becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, we will contact you as soon as possible and refund the corresponding amount paid.
6. ORDER PROCESS
To make a purchase through our online store:

Review the total amount and confirm your purchase.
Before completing your order, you will have the opportunity to review the information provided and correct any errors.
Once your purchase has been successfully completed, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address provided.
7. PRICES, TAXES AND SHIPPING
Product prices are displayed in euros (€), unless another currency is expressly indicated.
Displayed prices include applicable taxes where required by law.
Where VERAE states that shipping is included, no additional shipping charge will be added for destinations covered by that condition.
The total amount payable will be clearly displayed before you confirm your purchase.
VERAE may change its prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
In the event of an obvious pricing or technical error, VERAE may correct it and, where it affects an order already placed, will contact the customer to manage the situation in accordance with applicable law.
8. PAYMENTS
Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.
Payments are processed through Shopify and/or the relevant payment service providers.
Transactions may be subject to checks and authorisation by the relevant payment provider or financial institution.
Customers agree to provide complete, accurate and up-to-date payment and billing information.
VERAE does not directly store complete payment card details where these are securely processed by our payment providers.
9. ORDER CONFIRMATION
Once your purchase has been successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation email containing the relevant order information.
Order processing is subject to product availability, successful payment and, where necessary, security and fraud-prevention checks.
VERAE may refuse or cancel an order in circumstances permitted by applicable law, including suspected fraud, payment issues or obvious errors.
If VERAE cancels an order after payment has been received, the corresponding amount will be refunded.
10. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
VERAE ships to the countries and territories available during checkout.
Destinations, conditions and estimated delivery times are detailed in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and information provided are complete and accurate before confirming an order.
In the event of delays or logistical issues, VERAE will make every reasonable effort to keep the customer informed and manage the situation appropriately.
11. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
Consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving their order, without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, please contact VERAE at veraejewellery@gmail.com, clearly stating your decision to withdraw and including your order number.
VERAE offers complimentary returns for orders delivered to the countries within the European Union that we currently serve.
We will provide the return instructions, applicable return address and a prepaid return shipping label.
Once you have notified us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the jewellery without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after notifying us.
Your statutory rights regarding defective, damaged or incorrect products remain unaffected.

12. REFUNDS
Where a refund is due, it will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless expressly agreed otherwise and provided that this does not result in any additional cost to the customer.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and within the time limits established by applicable law.
In cases of withdrawal, VERAE may withhold the refund until the returned piece has been received or until the customer provides evidence that the item has been sent back, whichever occurs first.
13. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
We recommend inspecting your order upon receipt.
If your piece is defective, has been damaged in transit or you have received an item different from the one ordered, please contact us at:

We will review the case and provide the appropriate next steps in accordance with applicable law.
14. LEGAL GUARANTEE
Products sold by VERAE are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity established under applicable Spanish and European consumer protection legislation.
Where a piece presents a lack of conformity covered by law, the consumer may exercise the rights and remedies provided for under the applicable legislation.
Natural variations in colour, transparency, inclusions, texture or pattern inherent to natural stones do not, in themselves, constitute a lack of conformity.
Normal wear resulting from use, or damage caused by accidents, improper use or inadequate care, will not in themselves be considered manufacturing defects, without prejudice to the consumer's statutory rights.
15. JEWELLERY CARE
VERAE pieces should be worn and stored with care.
Exposure to water, perfumes, cosmetics, chemicals, humidity, friction and other external factors may affect the appearance of the jewellery and its finishes over time.
The care recommendations provided by VERAE are intended to help preserve your piece in the best possible condition.
Natural wear resulting from use does not necessarily constitute a manufacturing defect.
16. INTELLECTUAL AND INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY
All content available on the VERAE website, including, but not limited to, the VERAE name, trademarks, logos, monograms, jewellery designs, photographs, videos, texts, graphics, illustrations, visual elements and editorial content, is owned by VERATUR S.L. or used with the appropriate authorisation and is protected by applicable intellectual and industrial property laws.
Such content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, commercially exploited or otherwise used without prior written authorisation, except where expressly permitted by law.
17. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
To provide our services, we may use third-party providers, including Shopify, payment providers, logistics operators and other technology services.
Certain third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
18. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VERAE will not be responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
19. FORCE MAJEURE
VERAE will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events reasonably beyond our control.
Such events may include, among others, major transport disruptions, strikes, natural disasters, conflicts, restrictions imposed by public authorities or widespread failures of essential services.
In such circumstances, we will make every reasonable effort to minimise the impact and fulfil our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
20. COMMUNICATIONS
Communications relating to orders, purchases and services may be made electronically.
By placing an order, you agree to receive the communications necessary to process and manage your order at the email address provided.
This does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications where separate consent is required by law.
21. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
VERAE may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in applicable law, our operations or our services.
The Terms in force at the time an order is placed will apply to that purchase.
The date of the latest update will be displayed at the beginning of this page.
22. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable by a competent authority, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
23. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
Where the customer is a consumer, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available under the consumer protection laws applicable to them.
Any dispute will be resolved in accordance with the applicable rules governing jurisdiction and consumer protection.
